John Heil

John Heil is a Regulatory Affairs & Scientific Consultant 1 at Intertek, specializing in regulatory assurance for new substances, fertilizers, pesticides, and global chemical regulations since April 2021. Prior to this role, John served as the Director of Microbials at Metagenom Bio Life Science from November 2017 to April 2021, achieving success in registering a fertilizer supplement, managing lab facility projects, and developing various microbial products. John has extensive research experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Waterloo from 2006 to 2017, where significant contributions included bacterial genetics, bio-fungicide development, and management training through Mitacs. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and a H.B. Sc. in Biomedical Science from the University of Waterloo.
