Matthew Witham

Matthew Witham is a seasoned professional in the field of chemistry and chemical engineering, currently serving as Chief Chemist and Projects Coordinator at Intertek since March 2018, where previous roles included Junior Chemist. Prior to Intertek, Matthew Witham completed a PhD at Curtin University, focusing on green biochar-based catalysts for syngas cleaning from solid fuels gasification. Matthew Witham's career began as a Graduate Process Engineer at Orica, participating in the Graduate Program and engaging in projects related to underground development and explosive product characterization. Matthew Witham also gained experience as a Chemical Engineering Vacation Student at CSIRO, where research led to a published paper in the International Journal of Mineral Processing. Matthew Witham holds a Bachelor of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry from Curtin University.
