Russ Hughes

Russ Hughes is an experienced electrical safety project engineer at Intertek since August 2021, specializing in managing multiple projects and conducting safety compliance evaluations to various UL, CSA, and IEC standards. Prior to this role, Russ held several prominent positions including Senior Lead for Integration and Test at Synamedia, where responsibilities encompassed product support for installations and reverse engineering. At Cisco, Russ served as a Technical Leader focusing on product integration and customer support, while earlier roles at Motorola and LG Electronics involved testing, compliance verification, and field service engineering. Russ began a career in engineering at Cable Link, Inc., where strategic planning and leadership were key responsibilities. Russ holds a BS in Electronics from DeVry Institute of Technology.
