Wawan Somala, S.Pi, is a Food Certification Manager at Intertek, where they continue to leverage over 20 years of expertise in food safety and certification. They have a strong background in implementing Food Safety Management Systems and conducting compliance audits across various sectors, showcasing a commitment to quality and consumer trust. Wawan has served as a Technical Advisor at Sinergi Malindo Global and held the position of Food Safety Auditor at SGS, where they performed critical audits and training. They founded the Intertek Food Forum in Indonesia and have been an influential speaker at numerous food safety seminars. Wawan holds a Bachelor's degree in Fisheries Technology from Institut Pertanian Bogor.
