James Magill

James Magill serves as the Executive General Manager of Origin Zero at Origin Energy since February 2022. His extensive experience includes roles as a Board Member for Intertrust and Ecotricity NZ, as well as Trustee for School-Gen trust. Prior to his current position, James held significant leadership roles at Genesis, where responsibilities included Chief Digital Officer and Executive General Manager positions, achieving notable improvements in retail EBITDA and customer metrics. James also has a strong background in mergers and acquisitions at Centrica and British Gas, complemented by a solid educational foundation with an International MBA from IE Business School and a Diploma in Corporate Finance from ICAEW.
