Laxmi Prasad

Laxmi Prasad is the Group Chairman & Chief Business Architect at Interups. Laxmi has over two decades of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Interups, Laxmi served as the Chief Knowledge Officer at IBSN Inc, where they were responsible for US tax practice. Laxmi also authored the Self Directed IRA as a tax saving tool for expat Indians in the US.

Laxmi began their career at Prudential Financial, where they quickly rose through the ranks to become a Premier Agent. In 2000, they were named the Rookie of the Year and Highest Producer at the Des Moines Iowa Branch. Laxmi was also a Million Dollar Round Table Member and Premier & Special Agent of Prudential.

In 2014, Laxmi joined Garuda Global Corporation as President & Chief Strategy Officer. Laxmi served in this role until October 2015, when they left to join Developing Nations Fund as Head of Private Equity for SE Asia & Africa.

Laxmi Prasad has a CPA from the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy, an ACA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and a B.Com from Osmania University. Laxmi has also completed intermediate level coursework in Math, Physics and Chemistry from Aliya Government Junior College, Gunfoundry, Hyderabad. Laxmi has a SSC from People's High School, Himayat Nagar & Ashok Nagar, Hyderabad. And they have completed 1st - 5th grade in Primary Education from JB Government School, Peddapalli, Karimnagar, AP India.
