Gregory Cmar

Co-Founder, CTO at Interval Data Systems

Gregory Cmar has a long and varied career in the energy and software industries. Gregory began their career in 1975 as a Systems Salesperson at Honeywell. In 1978 they moved to the Massachusetts Energy Office as an Energy Conservation Specialist. From 1980 to 1981 they were an Engineering Service Salesperson at Shooshanian Engineering Associates. In 1981 they joined Johnson Controls as a TABS Manager, where they reorganized and redirected a large, problem-ridden branch business. In 1983 they joined Enertech Systems, Inc. as Vice President, where they researched and selected product lines. In 1993 they joined CONECO Corp, Subsidiary of Boston Edison as Manager of Engineering Services, where they established their energy audit department. From 1998 to 2002 they were Co-Founder and Director of Engineering at ForPower, Inc. In 2002 they moved to Circadian Software as Director of Product Marketing, where they were recruited to revamp their product and marketing focus. Finally, in 2003 they co-founded Interval Data Systems.

Gregory Cmar attended the United States Naval Academy from 1970 to 1971. Gregory then went on to the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they earned a BA in Communications from 1971 to 1974.
