Alan Chettle

Alan Chettle is a Campus Minister at the Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship of Canada, a position held since September 2016, after serving as an intern in the same organization focused on UBC Graduate Student and Faculty Ministry. Prior to this, Alan gained teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at The University of Manchester from January 2012 to May 2015, where responsibilities included tutorials and laboratory sessions in various engineering subjects. Earlier teaching experience was also gained at McMaster University from September 2009 to April 2011. Alan's educational background includes a Masters of Philosophy in Shockwave interactions in Hypersonic flows from The University of Manchester and two degrees in Mechanical Engineering from McMaster University, comprising a Master of Applied Science and a Bachelor of Engineering. Alan also worked as a Farm Hand at Droogendyk Market Garden from May 2007 to August 2009.
