Bruce Hansen

Bruce Hansen is currently a Staff Specialist at InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA, serving as the Associate Director for Theological Formation since 2022. Previously, they held the role of Senior Staff Specialist, where they trained staff in biblical and theological competencies and taught New Testament courses at Fuller Seminary's Menlo Park campus. With experience as the Regional Training Coordinator and Area Director at InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, Bruce has demonstrated leadership in team management, budget management, and strategic planning. Additionally, they served as an Assistant Professor of New Testament at Evangelische Theologische Faculteit from 2010 to 2018, where they taught various courses and supervised theses. Bruce earned a PhD in New Testament from the University of St Andrews and holds an MA in Biblical Studies from the Graduate Theological Union and a BA in Slavic Languages and Literature from the University of California, Berkeley.
