Joe Thackwell serves as the National Director of High School Transition at InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA since July 2011, where Joe leads initiatives to support high school students and their families in the college-bound journey, building partnerships with various organizations to foster Christian community on campuses. In addition, Joe holds the position of Director of Christian Life at the University of Southern California, focusing on promoting collaboration among Christian student organizations under the Office of Religious Life. Previously, Joe served as the Pastor to Students for the Evangelical Covenant Church from June 2006 to June 2011. Educational background includes a B.A. in English from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary.
