Interventek is an award winning subsea engineering business based in Aberdeen, providing technically advanced well intervention solutions to the global upstream oil and gas market. This dynamic company is revolutionising operations with the introduction of an innovative new shear and seal 'Revolution Valve', which delivers improved operational safety, reliability and well integrity at a fraction of current costs.

Interventek’s ‘Revolution Valve' has been designed as a ‘best-in-class’ solution to outperform current comparative technologies. It is the only shear and seal valve on the market today that does not compromise its ability to seal with its shearing action and does not use any elastomer components for well fluid containment. It can surpass endurance testing over many hundreds of cycles and is specifically aimed towards meeting highly rigorous API 17G industry standards. It is easily scaled to meet all well bore sizes, to cut all likely intervention media and its compact size with rotary actuators means it is ideally suited to the challenging confines of in-riser and slim line open water interventions.

With exceptional performance, high reliability and a variety of applications across the complete lifecycle of the well, this new technology heralds a new era in innovative cost reduction for the oil and gas industry.
