Rick Lull

Senior Security Solution Architect at InterVision Systems

Rick Lull has a diverse work experience in the field of information security and network engineering.

Rick started their career as a Network Technician I at Bon Secours Hampton Roads in 1999 and later worked as a Network Engineer, where they were responsible for server operations and supporting the hospital campus infrastructure. Rick also played a role in proof of concept builds for new technologies.

In 2004, Rick became an Enterprise Network Analyst at Bon Secours Health System. Rick eventually rose to the position of Sr Network Security Engineer, leading efforts to design, deploy, and operate multiple information security applications. Rick spearheaded the implementation of SSL interception and worked on content filtering and DLP.

From 2017 to 2021, Rick worked at SyCom Technologies, starting as a Consulting Engineer and later becoming the Lead Security Consultant. Rick focused on implementing security solutions for customers, performing security assessments, and developing business cases for new technologies.

In 2021, Rick joined ePlus inc. as a Senior Solution Architect, specializing in Cyber Security solutions. Rick provided presales engagement and offered trusted advice to customers, partnering with Account Executives and vendors.

Currently, Rick works as a Senior Security Solution Architect at InterVision Systems. Rick is responsible for technical presales engagement with customers, focusing on Cyber Security solutions. Rick leverages their knowledge of risk management and solution fitment to provide trusted advice and technology to enhance customers' security programs.

Rick Lull received their Advanced Studies Diploma from Kellam High School, where they attended from 1992 to 1996. Rick also holds various certifications including NSE7 Public Cloud from Fortinet obtained in June 2021, NSE4 from Fortinet obtained in April 2019, CISSP from (ISC)² obtained in September 2018, Certified Ethical Hacker from EC-Council obtained in November 2013, CCNP-Security from Cisco obtained in August 2010, and CCNA from Cisco obtained in February 2005.
