Devendra Chandra

Devendra Chandra has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Devendra started their career in 2009 at TIDC India, Murugappa Group, where they worked as a Design and Development Deputy Manager. Their responsibilities included handling new product inquiries, development, and project timing planning.

In 2012, Chandra joined FIAT CHRYSLER as a Dimensional Control Engineer. Here, they worked on various commodities and projects, such as HVAC, interior cockpit, trims, and engine systems. Devendra also utilized CAD software to create 2D drawings, develop assembly strategies, and control features using GD&T. Additionally, Chandra created roadmaps for CMM inspection points and developed VBA Macros for dimensional model creation.

Chandra then transitioned to Ford Motor Company, where they worked as a Specialist - Dimensional Variation Analyst from 2017 to 2019. In this role, they performed variation simulation analysis, conducted functional and appearance studies, and engaged in 3D stack-up analysis for different vehicle programs. Chandra also collaborated with US Technical Teams and presented DVA results and recommendations to the product development team.

Currently, Chandra is employed at Inteva Products, where they have held multiple positions. Devendra began as a Senior Dimensional Engineer in 2019 and then progressed to become a Lead Dimensional Engineer in 2020. Their current role is Senior Lead Dimensional Engineer | IMDS.

Devendra Chandra completed their Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology and Research Academy from 2005 to 2009. Devendra also completed their 12th grade education in Science from KV No. 1 from 2001 to 2003, and their 10th grade education in Science from MVM KANPUR from 1996 to 2001. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Data Analysis with Python and Python for Data Science from Cognitive Class in 2019, Visual Basic for Application Developer in Microsoft Excel from ExcelGoodies, Inc. in 2018, SIX SIGMA GREEN BELT in 2013, CNC TURNING AND MILLING PROGRAMMING in 2012, and POWERPLANT ENGINEERING from NTPC KORBA in 2007.
