Steven Chie

Steven Chie has more than 20 years of work experience, starting from their time in the Singapore Armed Forces as an Intelligence Specialist. Steven provided IT support, troubleshooted technical problems, monitored server health, and set up systems for meetings and events. Later, they worked at ST Electronics (Info-Comm Systems) as an Associate Engineer and then at ST Electronics (Info-Software Systems) Pte Ltd as an Engineer. Steven joined the Ministry of Defence of Singapore in 2015 and acted as a Continuous Monitoring Manager until 2021. Steven's most recent work experience is as a Consultant at INTfinity Consulting.

Steven Chie completed an Advanced Diploma in Information Technology at Informatics in 2009. Steven then pursued a Bachelor of Information Technology with a major in Software Development and Applications at the University of Newcastle from 2010 to 2012. Steven obtained two Specialist Diplomas from Singapore Polytechnic, specifically in Cyber Security Management in 2015 and in Data Science (Big Data and Streaming Analytics) from 2019 to 2020. As for their certifications, they obtained several from GIAC Certifications, including GCIH in 2017, GCFA in 2019, GNFA in 2020, and GCFE which they are set to obtain in January 2023. Steven also obtained Ingram Micro - IBM Security QRadar Foundations certification from IBM in September 2018 and completed Challenge of Wits from MINDEFxEDL in April 2022.
