Tim Mullen

Founder, CEO, Research Director at Intheon

Tim Mullen has been involved in a variety of work experiences since 2012. In that year, they became a Board Member and Co-founder of Mainly Mozart's annual "Mozart and the Mind" (MATM) festival. In 2015, they became Founder, CEO, and Research Director of Intheon and began advising various tech startups. In 2017, they became a Founding Member and Advisor of Inner Cosmos. In 2019, they became an Advisor for BrainMind, a Scientific Advisor for Lumena Inc, and a Founding Member and Advisor for Inner Cosmos. In 2020, they became a Co-Founder of a Stealth Mode Startup, an Advisor for PsyMed Ventures, a Technical Advisor for Nebula Space Enterprise, Inc., and an Associate Editor for Frontiers in Neuroergonomics (Consumer Neuroergonomics Section).

Tim Mullen began their educational career in 2005 when they attended the University of California, Berkeley and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Highest Honors in Computer Science and Cognitive Neuroscience (double major). In 2008, they began pursuing a Ph.D in Cognitive Science/Computational Neuroscience at UC San Diego, and also earned a Master of Science (M.S.) in Cognitive Science in 2011. Tim completed their Ph.D in 2014. In 2013, they obtained an Advanced Open Water Diver certification from PADI.
