Richard Sharp has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Starting in 1998, they worked as a Project Engineering Manager at Philips Electronics until 2000. Richard then became a Product Manager at Adaptive Broadband Corp. from 2000 to 2001, followed by a Senior Product Manager position at Airspan Networks from 2001 to 2002. Richard then served as a Principal Consultant at Rapid Innovation Group from 2002 to 2005, and afterward as the Director of Marketing & Product Marketing at ResponseTek from 2005 to 2007.

From 2007 to 2008, Richard worked as the Vice President of Marketing at Marqui before joining Elastic Path Software as the Director of Marketing from 2008 to 2009. Richard then took on the role of Vice President, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success at Marqui Software from 2009 to 2012, during which the company was acquired by Givex.

In 2012, Richard became the Chief Operating Officer at Allocadia Software, where they remained until 2019. Richard then moved to Intiveo, where they currently hold the position of Chief Operating Officer. Intiveo is a cloud-based patient communication software provider with a focus on improving patient outcomes by delivering automated and customizable messages to healthcare providers. Overall, Richard Sharp has consistently contributed to the growth and success of the companies they have worked for.

Richard Sharp attended the Cranfield School of Management from 2000 to 2001, where they earned an MBA degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Prior to that, from 1989 to 1993, they studied at The University of Sheffield and obtained a BEng (Hons) degree in Control Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Richard Sharp obtained an Antiracism Education Certificate of Completion from the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion (CCDI) in March 2022.
