Michael Vargas

Michael Vargas is a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in the design and analysis of mechanical and electromechanical systems. With a career spanning over a decade, Michael has been with Intralox since December 2016 and previously held positions at ION Geophysical as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, where responsibilities included the research and design of seismic imaging products. Earlier roles include work as a Seismic/Auxiliary Optics Assembly Technician at Caltech-LIGO, a Test Engineer at NWAA Labs, and Research Assistant positions at the W. M. Keck Computational Materials Theory Center and the Center for Complex Materials. Michael holds a Master of Engineering in Materials Science and Engineering from Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College, a Master of Science in Physics, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics, both from California State University, Northridge.
