Steve Melancon has over two decades of experience in engineering roles, primarily at Intralox since 2000, where current responsibilities include serving as an Engineering Manager for Manufacturing Improvement, leading a diverse team to enhance efficiency, capacity, and safety in global manufacturing. Previous positions at Intralox include Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor & Product Manager, Automation Engineering Group Supervisor, New Product Development Engineer, and Automation Engineer, with a focus on automation solutions and modular plastic belt design. Prior to Intralox, Steve held positions as a Mechanical Engineer at Pellerin Milnor Corporation and Laitram, contributing to the development of industrial laundry equipment and food processing solutions. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Orleans.
