Lead Architect at Intrepid Studios

Mark Storch is the Lead Architect at Intrepid Studios. Mark has over 20 years of experience in the software industry, with a focus on iOS (Swift), Ruby/Rack full-stack applications, and Node.js cloud technologies.

Previously, Mark was the Principal Software Lead at Modernistik from December 2016 to October 2017. In this role, they were responsible for leading various software design and development activities, from initial concept through production deployments.

Before that, Mark was the Master Builder (CTO) at GigTown LLC from May 2014 to December 2016. In this role, they were responsible for technological leadership and guidance in transforming initial founder ideas into a commercially-viable product. Mark also spearheaded the formation of the engineering team and was instrumental in building the Ruby/Rack and Node.js server, responsive web front-end, and iOS client application.

Mark is also a Co-Founder and Software Architect at Big Shiny Games, which they founded in September 2013. Mark remained in this role until December 2016.

Prior to their work in the games industry, Mark was a Staff Engineer at Broadcom Limited from January 2002 to December 2005 and Ericsson from January 1999 to December 2002. Mark then became Senior Staff Engineer, Manager at Qualcomm from November 1996 to May 2014.

They work with Bryan Langford - Executive Producer, Margaret Krohn - Community Marketing Lead, and Jim Sanders - Lead Visual Effects Artist. Mark Storch reports to John Moore, President & COO.
