Douglas E. Brough

Dr. Douglas E. Brough serves as the Senior Vice President, Head of Research for Precigen. Dr. Brough has 25 years of experience in the biopharma industry leading research and development focused on gene and cell therapy. Prior to joining Precigen, Dr. Brough led GenVec’s scientific operations as Chief Science Officer. Dr. Brough received a BS degree in Microbiology from Purdue University, MS degree in Microbiology and Biochemistry from Idaho State University and PhD in Microbiology, Molecular Genetics from Rutgers and the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Dr. Brough completed his postdoctoral research in cancer molecular biology at Princeton University.
