Sam Mintzer

Sam Mintzer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in information technology and operations management. Currently serving as the Sr. Director of Information Technology at Precigen since January 2020, Sam previously held similar senior roles at Intrexon Corporation, where responsibilities included overseeing the Information Technology Division and managing IT Systems Management and Compliance. Prior to that, Sam contributed to GenVec as Sr. Director of Operations and Sr. Director of Information Systems. The career began at Magellan Health Services as a Senior Programmer/Analyst. Sam holds a degree in Health Science & Policy from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, earned between 1990 and 1994.
