Woo Joo, PhD, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in biologics and molecular biology. Currently serving as the Director of Biologics at Precigen since September 2021, Woo Joo previously held various leadership positions at Aggamin Biologics, including Director, Associate Director, and Senior Scientist, where notable contributions included targeting pre-eclampsia and cardiovascular disorders, advancing early discovery research, and managing R&D activities. With a strong foundational background stemming from research roles at prestigious institutions such as Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Howard Hughes Medical Institute, Woo Joo has demonstrated expertise in antibody development, regulatory compliance, and scientific communication. Academic achievements include a PhD in Molecular Biology from Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences and a BS in Biology from Tufts University.
