Shane Esmore is currently the National Sustainability Lead for Property & Buildings at GHD, a position held since 2023. With extensive experience in sustainability and engineering, Shane has been a Director at Umow Lai since 2004 and served as a Principal at Integral Group from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, Shane held the roles of Director and Principal Sustainability Consultant at Umow Lai Pty Ltd from 2003 to 2022 and worked as a Mechanical Engineer at WSP Lincolne Scott from 1992 to 1997. Shane holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with Honours from the University of Melbourne, earned between 1988 and 1991, and completed VCE at St Arnaud High School from 1982 to 1987. In addition, Shane has been self-employed as a Sustainability Investor since 2022.
