Val Tsanev has over 17 years of experience in the financial services industry. In 2003, they began their career as a Financial Representative and Assistant to Senior Vice President at Ladenburg Thalmann. In 2004, they moved to Credit Suisse, where they worked in various roles, including CFO COO, CFO Program Services - Vice President, Investment Bank Strategy Group - Vice President, and Investment Banking Analyst - Global Industrial Services Group. In 2014, they founded CityRaven, an online real estate concierge platform, and successfully built a team of four professionals. In 2016, they founded IntroEQ (formerly ConferencePulse), a data platform for events professionals, and developed an intelligence data platform used by 67 clients. In 2021, they founded Execweb, a platform that connects cybersecurity vendors to security practitioners.
Val Tsanev holds a Master of Business Administration from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management, a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science/Finance from St. John's University, and has completed a Startup Accelerator program from AngelPad. Val also holds certifications from Dale Carnegie Training in Effective Communications & Human Relations/Skills For Success, as well as Series 7 and Series 63 certifications.
