Shaun Connell

Shaun Connell currently serves as the Executive VP - Power at Lancium, where responsibilities include leveraging load control technology for low-cost power delivery, optimizing grid siting locations, and managing energy procurement and optimization. In addition to this role, Shaun serves as a Board Member at Introhive and previously held positions at TransAlta as an Energy Term Trader, Managing Director of Sales & Marketing, and in various trading roles overseeing strategy and risk management. Before transitioning to TransAlta, Shaun was the VP of Finance & Growth at Vivo Resorts. Educational credentials include a Global Energy Executive MBA from the University of Calgary, an Energy Risk Professional certification from GARP, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick.
