Irme Esken

Irme Esken is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in human resources and compensation management. Currently serving as Group Director Total Rewards at Intrum since October 2024, Irme oversees compensation policies and processes. Prior experience includes roles at Swedbank from March 2007 to October 2024, where responsibilities spanned variable remuneration programs, compensation and benefits management, HR processes, and employment administration. Earlier roles at Intrum Justitia AS involved leading VAT refund operations and providing legal advice on VAT matters. Irme holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Taxation and Employment Law from the University of Tartu and completed further legal studies at Stockholm University.
