John Petropoulos

John Petropoulos currently serves as the Head of Risk Management at Intrum, a position held since October 2019. Prior to this role, John held various leadership positions at Piraeus Bank, including Senior Manager and Manager in Wholesale Credit, accumulating extensive experience in credit management and recovery. John has also been involved with OSE Hellenic Railways Organization S.A. as a Non Executive Board Member since April 2024. John's career began at Alpha Bank as a Credit Analyst. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Macedonia, completed between 1989 and 1993.
