Steinar Nielsen

Steinar Nielsen currently serves as the Managing Director at Intrum since May 2023. Prior to this role, Steinar held significant positions at Danske Bank, including Head of Personal Customers and member of the Country Management Team Norway from July 2022 to May 2023, as well as Head of Wealth Management Norway from November 2019 to February 2021. Steinar's experience also includes serving as Chief Executive Officer at Danica Pensjon from May 2018 to June 2022, and being a member of the Board of Directors at Danske Invest Asset Management Norway. Steinar was part of Danske Bank's management team from September 2008 to May 2018, holding multiple leadership roles. Earlier career positions include First Vice President at Fokus Bank and interim Head of Products and Sales in Personal Banking, among others. Steinar's educational background includes studies at IMD, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), UiT - The Arctic University of Norway, and BI Norwegian Business School.
