Chris Wang

Chris Wang is a Senior Data Scientist at Intuit since May 2017, where a complete network graph connecting the QuickBooks ecosystem was created, featuring over 800 million contacts and advanced fuzzy matching techniques. Prior to this role, Chris worked at GE as a Data Scientist from May 2015 to May 2017, focusing on machine learning solutions and developing a text mining-based ensemble recommendation system to diagnose locomotive failures. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Statistician at American Credit Acceptance, where gradient boosting conversion models for deep subprime customers were built, and as a Quantitative Research Analyst at Bridgepoint Education, where industry-leading ensemble models predicting student outcomes were independently developed. Chris holds a Master's degree in Statistics from Columbia University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Physics and Mathematics from the University of California, Irvine.
