Drew Carmichael

Drew Carmichael is an accomplished Principal Software Engineer currently leading Canadian tax initiatives at Intuit since June 2024. Prior to this role, Drew held a similar position at Okta, Inc., where significant contributions included the deployment of Vault OSS for a vast CI system and the operation of Hashi Corp Vault with a high service level agreement. Drew's experience as a DevOps Architect at the CPP Investment Board involved AWS cloud engineering and the maturation of AWS deployments across multiple accounts. Contributions to CGI as the Director of Consulting included developing a standardized pipeline for application deployments at TD Bank. Drew also has expertise in systems integration and automation from previous roles at organizations such as MaRS Discovery District and Checkout 51, after obtaining a degree from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.
