Peter Ouyang

Peter Ouyang is a data scientist and physicist with extensive experience in both theoretical physics and data science. Currently, they serve as a Senior Staff Data Scientist at Intuit, where they apply machine learning to develop user-facing applications. Previously, Ouyang held postdoctoral fellow positions at esteemed institutions, including the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Purdue University, and UC Santa Barbara, focusing on advanced topics such as gauge/gravity duality and string theory. Ouyang transitioned into data science after completing a selective fellowship at The Data Incubator, where they honed their skills in data analysis and machine learning techniques. They earned a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a PhD from Princeton University.
