Skanda Vivek

Skanda Vivek is a Senior Data Scientist at Intuit since October 2023 and serves as a Scientific Advisor at EMAlpha, providing technical advice on NLP and Generative AI for the financial sector. Previously, Skanda held the position of Senior Data Scientist at OnSolve, developing advanced transformer-based natural language processing methods for real-time geo-spatial information retrieval from critical event articles. Academic experience includes serving as an Assistant Professor of Physics at Georgia Gwinnett College and completing a postdoctoral fellowship at Georgia Institute of Technology. Skanda's educational background features a Ph.D. in Physics from Emory University and a Master's degree in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
