Director, Deputy General Counsel, Corporate, Securities and M&A at Intuit

Stacey Doynow is the current Director, Deputy General Counsel, Corporate, Securities and M&A at Intuit. Prior to their current role, they served as Counsel for Amazon.com's Business Development - Payments team from May 2011 to January 2014. In this role, they advised 50+ U.S. and international business team members on contractual and regulatory issues relating to gift cards, credit products, payment processing and money transmission. Stacey also drafted and negotiated commercial agreements for the purchase, sale and distribution of gift cards and use of payment processing systems in US and international markets.

From June 2009 to August 2010, Doynow took a one- year sabbatical from Shearman & Sterling to serve as Assistant General Counsel for SecondMarket, Inc. As part of a 3-person legal team for a 5-year old start-up platform for the trading of illiquid assets, they advised 30+ employees on compliance with securities laws and FINRA rules, and provided guidance to senior executives on new business strategies. In addition, Doynow drafted and negotiated form documentation (confidentiality agreements, purchase agreements, intermediary service agreements, and escrow agreements) in connection with the purchase and sale of private company securities (e.g., Facebook, Zynga, LinkedIn, Twitter), whole loans, restricted public equity, auction rate securities, bankruptcy claims, limited partnerships, and CDOs/CLOs.

Stacey Doynow has a JD from Boston College Law School and a BA in Economics and Political Science from Brown University.
