Tushar Thole

Tushar Thole currently serves as Group Engineering Manager at Intuit, focusing on the development of Autonomous Payroll through Agentic AI since January 2025. Prior to this role, Tushar was Head of Applications Engineering at StarTree, where the aim was to position Apache Pinot as a premier OLAP platform for enterprises from January 2022 to January 2025. Tushar also held the position of Head of Stream Governance Engineering at Confluent, leading a team responsible for various aspects of the Stream Governance product from January 2019 to January 2022. Tushar's earlier experience includes serving as Senior R&D Manager at VMware from June 2007 to January 2019, overseeing engineering teams in multiple domains, and completing a significant MTS internship in the vCenter Storage Management team, where foundational algorithms for I/O load balancing were created. Tushar began academic endeavors as a Graduate Assistant in the Hopkins Storage Systems Laboratory at Johns Hopkins University and holds a Master of Science in Engineering from the same institution, as well as a Product Management degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
