Gary Baisa

Gary Baisa is a Senior Scientist at Intuitive Biosciences with extensive experience in recombinant protein expression in both Escherichia coli and Pichia pastoris. Prior to this, Gary worked as a Scientist at Lytic Solutions and as an Assistant Scientist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where Gary focused on investigating vitamin D's role in the mammalian immune response to infectious agents. With a background in Medical Microbiology and Immunology, Gary has also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at both the Biochemistry Department and the Great Lakes Bioenergy Research Center, conducting research on plant genetics and cell wall metabolism. Additionally, Gary has experience as a Product Specialist at Abbott, providing technical support for molecular diagnostic assays.
