Jeff Labahn

Jeff Labahn is a Staff Software Engineer at Intuitive, focusing on the development of physics-based simulation software for industrial applications using C++ and designed for distributed computing and high-performance computing. They previously served as a Senior Software Engineer and have experience as a Simulation Development Engineer at Avametric. Jeff completed a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Waterloo, where they developed a combustion model to predict efficiency and emissions. Their past roles also include work as a Mechanical Engineering Designer at Rombald Inc. and as a postdoctoral research fellow at Stanford University, where they collaborated with NASA and the FAA on fluid dynamics research.
