Ryan Edwards

Ryan Edwards is a Senior Mechanical Design and Manufacturing Engineer at Intuitive Surgical, where they design and develop medical device accessories for surgical robots. With 7 years of experience in medical device design, Ryan has a strong background in robotics and engineering, beginning with a passion ignited by FIRST robotics in high school. They have developed improvements for the da Vinci Surgical Robots and excel in leading cross-functional projects with complex challenges. Ryan holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University and has previously worked in various engineering roles, including internships and positions at the U.S. EPA and Hartness.
