Stephen Hatch is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in manufacturing processes and tooling for robotic surgical devices. Since joining Intuitive in January 2006, Stephen has progressed from Tooling Engineer to Sr Manager of NPI Systems MFG Engineering, overseeing teams that develop and validate tooling and processes to mitigate risk and enhance product quality for the daVinci SP platform. Prior to Intuitive, Stephen held roles as a Mechanical Designer at Spudnik Inc. and SAE Magnetics, as well as Tooling Manager at Duel Systems, contributing to various projects and advancements in precision design and manufacturing. Stephen holds a background in engineering from Cuesta College, with a professional career spanning over two decades.
