Timothy Vale

Timothy Vale is an experienced professional in the field of plastics engineering, currently serving as Managing Principal for Plastics Technologies at Intuitive since October 2011, where Timothy specializes in advanced applications in surgical robotics and instrumentation while leading strategic supply chain initiatives. Vale also manages a team focused on supplier development and part qualification for new product introduction, ensuring FDA compliance in the medical device sector. Prior to Intuitive, Vale held various roles at ABA-PGT Incorporated, including Director of Research and Development, Engineering Manager, and Process Engineer, where Timothy focused on technology implementation and development in plastics materials and manufacturing processes. Vale's early career includes an associate position at United Technologies Research Center, where Timothy worked on process control in injection molding. Timothy holds both a BS and MS in Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
