Zhanjun Li

Zhanjun "James" Li is a seasoned mechanical engineer with over 15 years of experience in medical device development. Currently serving as a Staff Engineer in the Single Port Endoscope team at Intuitive Surgical since 2021, Zhanjun has previously held significant roles at companies such as St. Jude Medical and EaglePicher Medical Power. With a deep expertise in areas including concept development, verification and validation, and manufacturing transfer, Zhanjun consistently drives innovation in the field. Zhanjun earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, where they also contributed as a Research Assistant.
