Will Borders

Will Borders oversees Invenergy’s multi-disciplined global compliance function, ensuring that business activities across the company meet and exceed global regulatory and contractual requirements. He plays a critical role in defining strategic and tactical directions for Invenergy businesses in the U.S. and overseas. Previously, Borders served as Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, overseeing the provision of all legal services for the company; and Vice President, International Operations, supporting Invenergy’s new and existing international initiatives. Prior to joining Invenergy, he was sole in-house counsel and corporate secretary for Juice Energy, Inc. an Illinois, New York and Texas competitive retail electric supplier. Borders began his career at the law firm DLA Piper, representing electricity and natural gas companies in regulatory, transactional and litigation matters. He received a B.A. from Allegheny College and a J.D. from Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago-Kent College of Law.
