Sam Larson

Sam Larson is an accomplished Associate Professor of Public Administration and serves as the Interim Director of the Whitburn Center for Governance and Policy Research at the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh, where they have assumed the director role since 2025. Previously, Sam worked as a Research Analyst at Red Rocks Community College and held various positions in academia, including as an Assistant Professor and MPA Instructor. They earned a Ph.D. in Public Affairs from the University of Colorado at Denver and have extensive experience in program development and research within the public sector. Sam has also contributed to multiple educational institutions and philanthropic organizations throughout their career.
