Jason Schechter

Jason Schechter currently serves as the Global Head of People Insights at Invesco Ltd., a position held since September 2023. Prior to this role, Jason Schechter spent over 16 years at Goldman Sachs, where responsibilities included serving as Senior Vice President and Firmwide Headcount Strategy, leading a team focused on budgeting headcount drivers and compensation impacts. Jason Schechter played a key role in the development of a firmwide employee projection ecosystem and successfully executed a $1B+ compensation savings initiative. Previous positions at Goldman Sachs included Vice President of Operations FP&A and Vice President of Operations OTC Derivatives Clearing Services, along with roles ranging from Associate Operations to Analyst in Credit Derivatives. Earlier career experience includes teaching middle school English and history with NYC Teaching Fellows. Jason Schechter obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University and a Master of Education from Queens College.
