Maria Velez

Maria Velez, CPA, MST, currently serves as the Senior Director and Global Head of Tax at InvestCloud, Inc., starting in March 2024. Prior to this role, Maria held the position of Tax Director for Transfer Pricing & Controversy at Samsung Electronics America from October 2022 to March 2024, and was the Tax Reporting & Operations Lead at Gopuff from July 2021 to September 2022. Maria also worked at Paramount as Vice President of Tax from January 2010 to June 2021, and began a career at KPMG in 2002, progressing from Audit Associate to Tax Manager in Business Tax Services until December 2009. Educationally, Maria earned a Master of Science in Taxation from Pace University - Lubin School of Business and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University at Albany.
