Investigative Science and Engineering, Inc. (ISE) is a San Diego based company, supplying technical and scientific consulting, research and development (R&D), and mission support to the engineering, environmental, industrial, legal, military, forensic, and scientific communities, since 1997.

For nearly 20 years, ISE has sustained itself entirely, building a reputation for excellence in custom and quality solutions for our clients. With in-house technology and instrumentation comparable to some university laboratory settings, ISE is one of the best-equipped technical firms of its type. Our company offers a unique blend of intensive interdisciplinary acumen, with a great deal of experience solving problems for a spectrum of different industries, including work on a variety of large infrastructure projects.

ISE has extensive experience performing technical analyses and monitoring, including in the areas of vibration, acoustics/noise, air- quality/GHG, photometric/lighting studies, GIS, compliance with CEQA/NEPA, and writing Environmental Impact Reports/Studies (EIR/EIS).

We have been listening and responding to the needs of not only our past and present clients, but also the growing and changing requirements and applications within the technological, scientific, transportation, and environmental industries.

ISE has very successfully employed a commercialization process of reinvestment of earned revenues toward new research and development of innovative, or more advanced, methodologies, systems, and analytical tools. These have been, in turn, incorporated into our professional services and customized solutions offered to clients.
