Mark Schembri

Mark Schembri is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the technology and security sectors. Currently serving as Solutions Engineering Manager at Invicti Security since January 2020, Mark has held multiple roles including Solutions Engineering Team Lead and Technical Solutions Engineer, focusing on the implementation of dynamic web application security solutions through the products Netsparker and Acunetix. Prior to Invicti, Mark was Technical Support Team Lead at Acunetix and held various positions at GFI Software spanning over 13 years, including Software Engineer and QA Manager. Earlier career experiences include roles as Product Owner at Besedo and Electronics, Electrical and Mechanical Technician at Simonds Farsons Cisk plc., supported by internships in R&D at ABB solutions in Italy. Mark holds a BSc (Hons) in Computing and Information Systems from Goldsmiths College, U. of London, and a Diploma in Industrial Electronics from Fellenberg Training Center, alongside additional qualifications in electrical theory and practice.
