Karin Eyben is an experienced community organizer with a strong background in facilitating social change and engaging citizens through creative approaches. Over the past five years, they have coordinated the Garvagh People’s Forest Project, which has evolved into the Hare’s Corner Cooperative, where they currently serve as a Director. Prior roles include Project Development Manager at the Garvagh Development Trust and Public Policy Manager for the Integrated Education Fund and Northern Ireland Rural Women’s Network. Karin is also a Senior Project Officer at Involve and supports rural participatory budgeting processes as a consultant. Currently, they are pursuing a Master’s degree in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution at Ulster University and a Bachelor’s degree in History of Ideas at the University of Sussex.
