David Glenn

David Glenn is the current Chief Operating Officer at InVue. Prior to this, they served as the President of Lydall Thermal Acoustical Solutions from November 2010 to October 2021. There, they led a turnaround of a global automotive manufacturing business with over $400 million in annual revenue and 1,700 employees at seven plants in North America, Europe, and Asia.

During their time at Lydall, David drove EBITDA expansion by improving plant level operating efficiency, strategic sourcing and rationalization of product/customers. David also championed lean-based continuous improvement practices that boosted efficiency, with results that included a more than 2X increase in Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE). In addition, David increased employee retention more than 50% in North America through a cultural transformation that included overhauling roles, responsibilities, and wages.

Under David’s leadership, the senior leadership team developed a 3- to 5-year strategy with specific tasks for the year and implemented weekly progress reviews for accountability. As a result of their efforts, Lydall was successfully acquired in October 2021 by Unifrax, a high-performance specialty materials company headquartered in New York.

Before their time at Lydall, David served as Manager of Corporate Development & Strategic Planning, M&A at UTC Fire + Security from July 2002 to November 2010. There, they were responsible for leading all aspects of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures for the $5B Fire & Security business. During their tenure, David played an integral role in over 25 transactions totaling over $10B in value.

David has a proven track record of success in both operational and strategic roles. Their experience leading large organizations through turnarounds and transformational changes makes him an invaluable asset to InVue.

David Glenn has a MBA from Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business and a BA from Isenberg School of Management, UMass Amherst.
