Alex Maund

Alex Maund has over 15 years of experience as a consultant and applied statistician in the field of analytics and AI. They have worked with various industries such as power and utilities, mining and metals, public sector, consumer and financial services, and healthcare. They have held positions at Deloitte Australia, where they served as the Director of Consulting, specializing in analytics and AI, and as a Senior Manager in analytics and customer insights. Prior to that, Alex worked at AFG Australian Finance Group as the Head of Analytics, where they developed the data and analytics strategy and restructured the team. They also have experience as a Senior Consultant Statistician at Data Analysis Australia, where they managed client portfolios and conducted statistical analysis for various organizations. Alex's earlier experiences include working as an Accounting Analyst at MSM Loss Management and as a Higher Statistical Officer at the Food Standards Agency. They began their career as a Statistical Officer at the Ministry of Defence in the UK, where they contributed to manpower planning projects and co-edited the United Kingdom Defence Statistics. Currently, Alex works as the Head of Data at INX Software.

Alex Maund attended the University of Bath from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Mathematics.
