Huw Thomas

Huw Thomas is a seasoned professional in process engineering and project management, currently serving as a Senior Study Manager and Senior Principal Consultant at io consulting since April 2019. With previous experience at Xodus Group from August 2013 to March 2019 as a Principal Process Engineer and Process Consultant, and at AMEC as a Process Engineer from September 2006 to August 2013, Huw has a strong background in detailed design, site support, and pre-feed studies for various major oil and gas projects, including those for BP and Shell. Huw's responsibilities have encompassed functional specifications, process simulation modeling, HAZOP studies, and liaising with operational teams. Education includes a Master of Science in Chemical Process Engineering from University College London and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Bristol, accompanied by a recent professional development course from MIT xPRO.
